How to Report a Bug in LiveFlow
Last updated: March 9, 2026
If you encounter an issue while using LiveFlow, the best way to report it is through our in-app chat widget. This allows our team to quickly review the problem, collect the necessary details, and help resolve it as efficiently as possible.
Follow the steps below to report a bug.
Step 1: Open the Chat Widget
Start by opening the LiveFlow chat widget located in the bottom corner of the app or website.
Use the chat to briefly describe the issue you are experiencing.
Step 2: Specify Where the Issue Is Occurring
When reporting the issue, let the chatbot know where the bug is happening. This helps route your request to the correct team.
Please specify whether the issue occurs in:
The LiveFlow Web App, or
The Excel Add-in or Google Sheets Extension
Including this information upfront helps our support team investigate the issue faster.
Example message:
"I'm experiencing a bug in the LiveFlow web app when trying to run a consolidation."
or
"I'm seeing an error in the LiveFlow Google Sheets extension when refreshing a report."
Step 3: Include Screenshots of the Error
Screenshots are extremely helpful for diagnosing issues.
When submitting your report, please be prepared to include:
A screenshot of the error message
A screenshot of the screen where the issue occurred
These visuals help our team understand exactly what you are seeing and often speed up the troubleshooting process.
Step 4: Provide Additional Context (Optional but Helpful)
If possible, also include:
The steps you took before the issue occurred
The report or feature you were using
Whether the issue happens every time or intermittently
The more details you provide, the faster we can identify and resolve the issue.
Summary
To report a bug in LiveFlow:

Tell the chatbot where the issue is happening (Web App, Excel, or Google Sheets)
