How to Create a Master Budget Using FinanceIQ

Follow these steps to create a master budget in FinanceIQ:

  1. Log in to LiveFlow
    Navigate to app.liveflow.io and log into your account.

  2. Access FinanceIQ
    From the LiveFlow dashboard, go to the FinanceIQ section and click "Create Budget."

  3. Set Up Your Budget
    Enter the following details:

    • Budget Name

    • Period/Date Range

    • Entity or Consolidation Group (e.g., US Subsidiary, Global Holdings)

    Once completed, click "Continue."

  4. Add Departments and Assign Budget Owners
    Click "Add New Department" to set up each department within your organization. Assign team members who will be responsible for entering budget information.
    ​Example:

    • Department: Sales

    • Budget Owners: John Smith

    Once completed, click "Continue."

  5. Assign Accounts to Departments
    For each section of your Profit & Loss (P&L), assign relevant accounts to the appropriate departments. This ensures accurate tracking and responsibility alignment.

  6. Publish Your Budget
    Once everything is assigned and reviewed, click "Publish Budget" to finalize and activate your master budget.

You're all set! Your master budget is now live in FinanceIQ.
