1. I made updates to my general ledger accounts in QuickBooks. Why aren't the changes showing up in my LiveFlow report?

Answer:

  • If changes made in QuickBooks Online (QBO) are not reflecting in your LiveFlow report, try reconnecting the QBO company in LiveFlow.

  • Go to the LiveFlow web app (https://app.liveflow.io) and reconnect the QuickBooks company in Settings. This will refresh the connection and update your report.

2. I'm getting an error when trying to create a report with a large data set.

Answer:

  • The QBO API has a limit of 400,000 cells of data per report.

  • To resolve this, try limiting the date range or reducing the number of columns/rows in your report.

3. My reports aren't refreshing.

Answer:
If your reports are not refreshing, try the following steps:

  • Shorten the date range.

  • Refresh one report at a time to identify any specific report causing the issue.

  • Add filters to reduce the size of your dataset.

  • Check for costly formulas or broken conditional formatting, as these can cause API timeouts.

  • Ensure there are no merged cells in the LiveFlow report.

4. How do I delete one of my workspaces?

Answer:

  • Currently, only the LiveFlow Team can delete workspaces.

  • Contact a LiveFlow representative for assistance with deleting a workspace.

5. How can I filter transactions by "Not Specified" in LiveFlow for Location and Class?

Answer:

  • Due to QBO API limitations, "Not Specified" transactions cannot be pulled directly.

  • A workaround is to pull the Transaction Detail report with the Class column included and identify the "Not Specified" transactions manually.

6. Will the report update if I have merged cells?

Answer:

  • Reports with merged cells within the LiveFlow content will not refresh.

  • You can merge cells outside the LiveFlow report, such as in added columns or rows above/below the report, without affecting the refresh functionality.

7. The Google Sheets LiveFlow sidebar isn't working or letting me log in.

Answer:
If the sidebar is not working, try the following:

  • Sign out of all Google accounts and sign back in with the account associated with LiveFlow.

  • Go to Extensions and reload LiveFlow.

  • Ensure cookies and pop-ups are allowed.

  • Try accessing LiveFlow in an incognito browser window.
